-Key Responsibilities:

1.General Maintenance:

-Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces to identify maintenance needs.

-Conduct repairs on minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and other hotel equipment.

-Address guest requests and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.

2.Preventative Maintenance:

-Assist in implementing a preventative maintenance program for all hotel equipment and facilities.

-Perform regular maintenance on equipment such as air conditioning units, boilers, lighting fixtures, and kitchen appliances.

3.Carpentry & Painting:

-Carry out basic carpentry tasks such as repairing furniture, doors, windows, and fixtures.

-Perform painting and touch-ups in guest rooms, corridors, and other areas as needed.

4.Electrical & Plumbing:

-Address minor electrical issues like faulty wiring, light fixture repairs, and power outages.

-Resolve plumbing problems such as clogged drains, leaky faucets, and malfunctioning toilets.

4Safety & Compliance:

-Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

-Report any hazardous conditions or equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor.

-Participate in emergency response activities, such as fire drills and evacuations.

5.Inventory Management:

-Maintain an inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.

-Assist in ordering and restocking maintenance supplies as needed.

6.Team Collaboration:

-Work closely with other departments to minimize disruptions to hotel operations during maintenance work.

-Assist other maintenance team members as needed and share knowledge to improve overall team performance.

7.Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

8.Troubleshoot and resolve Wi-Fi connectivity issues for home and business networks.

9.Configure and install wireless routers, access points, and other network equipment.
