Job Summary

Nana Mountain Resort is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are always clean, well-maintained, and meet the highest hospitality standards. You will manage the housekeeping team, enforce hygiene protocols, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Team Management

• Oversee and coordinate housekeeping staff in cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to improve efficiency.

Quality Control & Standards

• Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with hotel standards.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens.
• Address and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services.

Inventory & Supplies Management

• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department for timely replenishment of supplies.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of housekeeping equipment and chemicals.

Safety & Hygiene Compliance

• Ensure staff follows safety protocols, hygiene guidelines, and sanitation standards.
• Report maintenance issues, broken equipment, or any hazards to the relevant department.
• Enforce proper waste disposal and recycling procedures.

Guest Satisfaction & Coordination

• Work closely with the front desk and other departments to fulfill guest requests (extra linens, room preferences, etc.).
• Ensure housekeeping services align with guest arrival and departure schedules.
• Handle lost and found items efficiently and per hotel policies.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (preferably in hotels or resorts).
• Education: Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping equipment and chemical handling.
• Other:
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically fit to perform housekeeping duties when required.
