  • Responsibilities :

    1. Manage the financial transactions and accounting activities of the travel agency, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

    2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.

    3. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.

    4. Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts.

    5. Monitor cash flow and manage the company's budget to ensure financial stability and profitability.

    6. Process employee payroll and maintain payroll records in compliance with applicable regulations.

    7. Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.

    8. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.

    9. Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for management review, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

    10. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.

    11. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements affecting the travel industry.

    12. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

    Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

    2. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

    3. Proven experience as an accountant in the travel industry or related field.

    4. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.

    5. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

    6. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

    7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

    8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    9. Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and willingness to take on new challenges.

    10. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
