Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries of the company and the associate companies
• Maintain Companies’ books of accounts up-to-date
• File tax/VAT and company returns within the stipulated deadlines.
• Prepare invoices and cheques as instructed by the Finance Manager
• Collect receivables and follow up regularly, and maintain receivables outstanding no greater than
60 days.
• Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables and other accounts on monthly basis
• Control assets of the Company and its associate entities
• Any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by Finance Manager
Education and experience:
• Pursuing Chartered Accountants designation or accounting designation from IFAC recognized
professional bodies along with Bachelor’s degree in business studies/ management/
administration with first division
• 2 years of experience in accounting, tax and financial management, corporate laws
• Experience of GL based accounting system shall be an asset
• Candidate should have all round experience in Nepalese tax system
• Very fluent in English (speaking and written) and have sound communication skills
• High skill in Office 365 and other office applications
• Skill in VBA coding and SQL shall be asset
• Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute, 60 words per minute highly desirable
