Job Description

  1. Greet customers and provide excellent customer service during each transaction.

  2. Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately.

  3. Handle cash, credit, and digital payments while ensuring correct change is given.

  4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

  5. Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies.

  6. Assist customers with product information, pricing, and store promotions.

  7. Count cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.

  8. Follow security and loss-prevention procedures to protect store assets.
