Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the Service Team: Directly oversee the server team, ensuring they adhere to service standards, and provide guidance on service techniques and guest interactions.

* Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Greet guests warmly, oversee their dining experience, and promptly address any questions, requests, or concerns to ensure an exceptional experience.

* Coordinate Operations: Manage table assignments, oversee server sections, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and smooth service flow.

* Train and Mentor Team Members: Conduct training sessions for new servers and provide ongoing mentorship and feedback to improve skills and maintain high standards.

* Manage Opening and Closing Procedures: Ensure the dining is properly prepared for service, including table setups, cleanliness, and readiness, and conduct closing tasks as required.

* Handle Reservations : Oversee seating arrangements, manage guest flow, and communicate with the front-of-house team to optimize table

* Ensure Consistency and Quality: Oversee the presentation and quality of dishes and beverages, maintaining alignment with company standards.

* Handle Customer Complaints and Issues: Resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and diffusing potential problems in a courteous manner.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Server Captain, Head Server, or similar role in an upscale or high-volume restaurant

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team

* Excellent communication and organizational abilities

* Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including bar menu and food menu

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure

* Commitment to hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask

* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
