Job Description

1.Culinary Expertise:

-Demonstrate mastery of Thakali cuisine techniques, ingredients, and flavors.

-Design and develop Thakali menu items that adhere to traditional recipes and flavors.

-Ensure the authenticity and quality of each dish served.

2.Menu Development and Innovation:

-Create and update Thakali menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.

-Introduce innovative twists to traditional Thakali dishes while respecting their essence.

3.Kitchen Leadership:

-Lead the Thakali culinary team by setting expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment.

-Supervise food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating presentation to maintain consistency.

4.Quality Control:

-Conduct regular tastings and quality checks to ensure dishes meet established standards.

-Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols in the kitchen.

5.Inventory Management:

-Monitor and manage inventory of Thakali-specific ingredients and supplies.

-Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of ingredients.

6.Training and Development:

-Train kitchen staff in Thakali cooking techniques, presentation, and cultural significance.

-Provide continuous learning opportunities to enhance team skills.

7.Collaboration:

-Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure a seamless overall dining experience.

-Collaborate with the management team on promotions, special events, and guest feedback.

8.Cost Efficiency:

-Monitor food costs and wastage, implementing measures to control expenses.

-Optimize portion control without compromising on quality.

9.Guest Interaction:

-Interact with guests to showcase Thakali cuisine, answer questions, and gather feedback.
