Job Description

  1. Prepare and cook Thai-style full meals, dishes and specialty foods as instructed by chef

  2. Participate in menu planning and food presentation design.

  3. Facilitate the service of all food, ensuring client food preferences are respected and quality presentation is maintained.

  4. Prepare meals in strict adherence to Baan Lao’s standards

  5. Assist chefs in monitoring cooking process

  6. Maintain a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

  7. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

  8. Check quality of ingredients

  9. Help monitor stock

  10. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

  11. Ensure food is safely stored, properly labelled and dated to avoid spoilage and facilitate proper rotation

  12. Serve as a brand ambassador for Baan Lao, demonstrating honesty, integrity and a commitment to exceptional customer service
