Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Storekeeper at Nomad Hotel in Kathmandu. The Storekeeper will be responsible for tasks such as procurement of necessary goods for hotel and restaurant, dealing with vendors, inventory management and control, bill entry and occasionally visit outside office like (banks, other offices etc.)


Qualifications

  1. Pursuing Bachelors Degree in Management or related field
  2. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  3. Knowledge of hospitality industry operations is a plus
  4. Strong inventory control and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  7. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
  2. Maintain updated records of inventory transactions, purchase orders, and bills.
  3. Prepare and submit reports on stock levels, shortages, and wastages.
  4. Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and timely payments.
  5. Procure goods for hotel operations, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Organize and store items properly, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
  7. Coordinate with departments to fulfill supply needs efficiently.
  8. Perform office visits as required, such as to banks or other institutions.
  9. Build strong vendor relationships and manage timely deliveries
