Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
Enforce strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Collaborate on menu planning, recipe development, and cost control.
Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Monitor food storage, waste, and portion control to minimize costs.
Assist in onboarding and training new kitchen staff.
