Competitive salary based on experience1. Oversee daily accounting operations of the company and its business units.
2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
4. Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
5. Monitor and control inventory accounting related to feed, chicks, medicines, poultry stock, eggs, and finished products.
6. Conduct cost analysis for poultry production, feed manufacturing, hatchery operations, and processing activities.
7. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for management review.
8. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance indicators.
9. Ensure timely filing of VAT, TDS, income tax, and other statutory obligations.
10. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
11. Develop and strengthen internal controls and financial reporting systems.
12. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
13. Supervise accounting staff and provide necessary guidance and support.
14. Prepare management reports and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
15. Support management in strategic planning, investment evaluation, and financial decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting position.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in poultry, agriculture, manufacturing, FMCG, or group of companies.
• Strong knowledge of Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS), taxation, VAT, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
Candidates having prior experience in poultry farming, feed manufacturing, hatchery operations, livestock businesses, agro-industries, or diversified business groups will be given preference.
