Job Description

  1. Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy

  2. Training staff to follow restaurant procedures

  3. Maintaining safety and food quality standards

  4. Keeping customers happy and handling complaints

  5. Organizing schedules

  6. Keeping track of employees’ hours

  7. Recording payroll data

  8. Ordering food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations

  9. Supervising daily shift operations

  10. Ensuring all end of day cash outs are correctly completed

  11. Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations

  12. Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste

  13. Appraising staff performance

  14. Interviewing/recruiting new employees

  15. Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels
