Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.Prepare Pizza Ingredients:

-Make pizza dough, sauces, and slice toppings (cheese, vegetables, meats, etc.).

-Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepped according to recipes.

2.Pizza Preparation:

-Roll, stretch, or toss pizza dough by hand or machine to desired thickness.

-Assemble pizzas with specified ingredients and toppings per order or recipe.

-Cook pizzas in ovens (wood-fired, gas, or electric) while monitoring temperature and cooking time.

3.Maintain Food Quality:

-Ensure pizzas are cooked to the correct consistency, texture, and flavor.

-Adhere to portion sizes, presentation, and recipe guidelines.

4.Health and Safety:

-Follow food safety regulations, including proper handling, sanitation, and storage of ingredients.

-Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.

5.Customer Service:

-Communicate with servers or customers (if working in an open kitchen) to accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions.

-Ensure pizzas are delivered in a timely manner, especially during busy hours.

6.Inventory and Supplies:

-Monitor and restock ingredients as needed.

-Assist in inventory control and report any shortages to the Kitchen Manager.

7.Equipment Maintenance:

-Maintain and clean pizza ovens, dough mixers, slicers, and other kitchen equipment.

-Report any malfunctioning equipment to management promptly.
