The Chiya Spot is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end daily operations of company-owned outlets, franchise outlets, and the central kitchen. This role is crucial in ensuring operational excellence, consistency, cost control, staff performance, and brand standards across all locations.
We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience in the food & beverage industry, understands multi-outlet operations, and can take ownership without micromanagement.
1. Outlet Operations (Company-Owned & Franchise)
Oversee day-to-day operations of all outlets to ensure smooth functioning
Ensure SOPs, hygiene standards, service quality, and brand guidelines are strictly followed
Conduct regular outlet audits (cleanliness, service, stock, wastage, discipline)
Monitor daily sales, expenses, and operational issues and take corrective action
Coordinate with franchise partners and ensure operational compliance
2. Central Kitchen Management
Manage daily operations of the central kitchen
Ensure production planning, quality control, food safety, and timely dispatch
Control food cost, portion consistency, wastage, and inventory
Maintain proper documentation, recipes, and standard procedures
3. Team & Manpower Management
Supervise outlet supervisors, kitchen heads, and key staff
Ensure proper staff deployment, shift planning, and productivity
Conduct training for new and existing staff on SOPs, hygiene, and service
Handle staff performance monitoring, discipline, and operational feedback
4. Cost Control & Reporting
Monitor food cost, labor cost, and operational expenses
Analyze consumption reports and wastage
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operational reports
Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
5. Process Improvement & Expansion Support
Improve systems, workflows, and operational processes
Support new outlet openings and franchise onboarding
Act as a bridge between management and ground teams
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in F&B operations (multi-outlet experience preferred)
Prior experience as Operations Manager / Area Manager / Outlet Manager
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, central kitchen systems, and franchise models
Ability to manage pressure, manpower, and multiple locations
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must be hands-on, disciplined, and detail-oriented
Someone who can run operations independently, not just report problems
Strong control over hygiene, consistency, and cost
Experience dealing with franchise partners and multiple teams
A person who understands that systems > shortcuts
Long-term mindset to grow with the brand
