Job Description

Nana Mountain Resort is seeking a highly skilled Multi-Cuisine Chef who specializes in preparing a variety of international and regional cuisines. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for menu innovation, food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.


Key Responsibilities

Culinary Excellence & Food Preparation

  • Prepare and cook diverse cuisines, including Indian, Continental, Asian, and other global dishes.
  • Maintain consistency in flavors, portioning, and presentation across different cuisines.
  • Innovate and introduce new dishes to enhance the resort’s dining experience.

Menu Planning & Kitchen Operations

  • Assist in designing seasonal and special menus featuring multiple cuisines.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and cost control while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source authentic and fresh ingredients.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in preparing dishes from various cuisines.
  • Maintain a positive and efficient work environment in the kitchen.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on culinary techniques and food safety.

Guest Satisfaction & Service Coordination

  • Work closely with the restaurant team to understand guest preferences and customize dishes.
  • Interact with guests when required to get feedback and improve food offerings.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.

Hygiene & Compliance

  • Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of kitchen equipment and workstations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience as a chef specializing in multi-cuisine cooking (preferably in hotels or resorts).
  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional training.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in Indian, Continental, Asian, and international cuisines.
    • Creativity in menu development and food presentation.
    • Strong leadership and kitchen management abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Other: Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
