Job Description
- Conduct and assist in repair/ maintenance work assigned
to him team by senior Mechanics. He should inform any complicated repair
work to his senior and to the Floor/ Service Engineer.
- Conduct any minor repair work pertinently to vehicle
independently. He should be capable and conduct servicing of vehicle
on his own.
- Work in a team and complete repair work assigned with
greater care and precision avoiding repetition of similar complains again.
- Work in given time frame and assure the quality of work
done.
- Always advocate in using genuine spare parts in repair
work.
- Avoid direct contact with vehicle owner or vehicle
operator. But should be confident in self in performing the repair work
and should give this massage to owner or driver.
- Train subordinate in excelling the repair work during
the work.
- Be disciplined and maintain discipline in the team
while operating in workshop.
- Take initiative in hygiene of the workshop and instruct
subordinates to maintain cleanliness at work place.
- Should be aware of personal safety measures and work
accordingly to avoid accident and injury at work place.
- Report Service engineers any complications during the
repair work; and any in-disciplinary activities at the work place.
