Job Description

Job Purpose

  • The Livelihood Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring livelihood-

  • related interventions in the project areas. This role focuses on supporting communities through

  • vocational training, small business development, market linkages, and other livelihood

  • enhancement activities to strengthen household resilience and economic well-being.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan, implement, and monitor livelihood promotion activities in the project area.

2.Coordinate with local government bodies, communities, and stakeholders for effective

3.Project delivery.

4.Facilitate community mobilization, enterprise development, and income-generating

initiatives.

5.Prepare periodic reports, documentation, and success stories as required.

6..Support capacity-building activities for community groups and local partners, should report to project coordinator.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture,

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in livelihood, community development, or similar

  • projects.

  • Good knowledge of participatory development approaches and local economic

  • development.

  • Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

  • Experience in agriculture, vocational training, or small enterprise development.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Nepali & English languages.

  • Willingness to travel and work in rural field settings.
