Assist the cook in food preparation, cooking, and plating as required.
Wash, clean, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, meat, and other ingredients for cooking.
Assist in preparing basic fast-food items and other kitchen preparations under the cook’s direction.
Maintain proper cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, cooking area, utensils, and equipment.
Wash and organize plates, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen equipment after use.
Assist with receiving, storing, labeling, and organizing food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
Follow proper food safety, handling, storage, and waste-disposal procedures.
Support the cook and kitchen team during busy periods and perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the supervisor.
