Job Description

  1. Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all food is prepared to high standards and presented in an attractive manner

  2. Train and supervise junior staff members in the kitchen

  3. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

  4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

  5. Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed

  6. Assist with menu planning and development

  7. Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes

  8. Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and is safe for consumption

  9. Communicate with other members of the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth service

  10. Assist with the management of food costs and waste
