Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the restaurant's Japanese menu, including sushi, sashimi, tempura, and other traditional dishes.

• Prepare and cook Japanese dishes in accordance with recipes and standards.

• Train and supervise kitchen staff in Japanese cooking techniques and standards.

• Ensure the kitchen meets all health and safety regulations.

• Manage inventory and food costs.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

• Work closely with the management team to develop new dishes and menu items.

• Provide leadership and direction to kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Japanese Cuisine Chef or Sushi Chef

• Deep knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients

• Creative and innovative approach to Japanese cuisine

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Certification from a culinary school or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of Nepali language is a plus.
