Job Description


  1. Must be able to prepare breads and meats in the Tandoor (Indian style clay oven) oven.

  2. Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.

  3. Estimate food requirements.

  4. Garnishing and presentation of food in new cooking techniques.

  5. Plan menus, Ensure quality of food and portion control.

  6. Maintain records of food costs, consumption, inventory.

  7. While on duty, keep the cooking area clean to make sure that the health and food safety standards are met.
