A reputed College is seeking responsible, caring, and disciplined individuals to join its Hostel Department as Hostel In-Charge. The selected candidates will assist in the day-to-day management of the student hostel, ensuring a safe, secure, clean, and supportive living environment for students while maintaining discipline and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall day-to-day operation and administration of the hostel.

• Monitor students' discipline, attendance, safety, and well-being.

• Maintain hostel records, room allocation, leave, visitor, and incident records.

• Supervise hostel support staff, including wardens, assistants, cleaners, and other staff.

• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, meals, and hostel facilities.

• Handle student concerns and coordinate with parents/guardians when required.

• Coordinate with Security, Administration, Counselling/Student Well-Being, and other departments.

• Manage and report hostel-related emergencies and incidents.

• Ensure compliance with College policies, hostel rules, and procedures.

• Submit regular reports to the designated College authority.

• Handles major complaints, incidents, emergencies, and reporting.

• Must be willing to reside on the College premises and remain available for hostel-related matters as per the 24-hour hostel duty requirement.

Other Specification

• Bachelor completed with minimum 2 years’ experience in related field

• Good communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills.

• Responsible, disciplined, patient, and able to work in shifts when required.
