Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef at KVC Cafe located in Syuchatar Pool, Kalanki, Kathmandu. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and executing menu offerings, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and presentation, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Culinary skills in menu creation, food preparation, and presentation
  • Leadership experience in managing kitchen staff and operations
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • Menu planning and cost control abilities
  • Creativity in developing new dishes and fine-tuning existing recipes
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in upscale or fine dining establishments is a plus
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification
