Responsibilities :
• Assuring the freshness, quality, and promptness of the food.
• Organizing the work of the cooks.
• Hygiene policies are being implemented, and equipment is being inspected for cleanliness.
• Creating new recipes, menu planning, and plate presentation are all things that I enjoy doing.
• Staffing numbers are being reviewed to ensure that service, operational, and budgetary goals are met.
• Recruiting and training kitchen employees such as cooks, food prep workers, and dishwashers.
• Administrative chores, inventory of food and equipment supplies, and purchase orders are all part of the job.
• Staff performance standards are established and monitored.
• Assist the company in determining how much food and supplies are required.
