Key Responsibilities:

  • Design compelling advertisements for clients, ensuring alignment with their branding and marketing goals.
  • Develop creative and innovative branding materials for the newspaper's internal and external campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the editorial, marketing, and sales teams to understand the visual and marketing needs of various projects.
  • Prepare files for both print and digital media, ensuring the correct use of CMYK and RGB color spaces.
  • Edit and adjust designs as per feedback from internal teams and clients.
  • Ensure all designs meet the company's visual standards and guidelines.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and techniques to consistently deliver fresh and creative designs.
  • Handle tight deadlines for last-minute changes to advertisements or branding materials.
  • Maintain an organized archive of all designs and related materials for future use and reference.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the newspaper, media, or publishing industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of color theory and experience working with CMYK for print and RGB for digital.
  • Knowledge of printing processes, file preparation for print, and typography.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience with advertisement and branding design.
