Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes according to established recipes, menu standards, and food preparation procedures.

  2. Assist the Chef in the preparation of ingredients, including cutting, marinating, seasoning, and other mise en place activities.

  3. Ensure the quality, taste, portion size, presentation, and consistency of all Chinese food items meet the required standards.

  4. Operate Chinese cooking equipment such as woks, burners, steamers, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

  5. Maintain proper food hygiene, personal cleanliness, and kitchen sanitation in accordance with food safety standards.

  6. Monitor the freshness and availability of ingredients and report any shortages, wastage, or quality issues to the Chef or Supervisor.

  7. Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the assigned workstation and coordinate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely food production.

    Note:

    Duty Hour: 9 hours
