Assist in the preparation of ingredients for Indian dishes, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Ensure all food items are prepped according to recipes and portion control standards.
2. Cooking:
Prepare and cook Indian dishes using traditional techniques and recipes, maintaining authenticity and flavor.
Operate kitchen equipment such as tandoors, gas stoves, and grinders safely and effectively.
3. Menu Support:
Collaborate with senior chefs in menu planning, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Contribute ideas for new dishes and enhancements to existing recipes.
4. Hygiene and Safety:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling.
5. Quality Control:
Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Participate in tastings and adjustments based on feedback from senior chefs.
6. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen staff, assisting in training junior team members as needed.
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure timely service and coordination.
7. Inventory Management:
Assist in managing stock levels of ingredients specific to Indian cuisine, ensuring freshness and availability.
Help with receiving and storing deliveries of food items.

Note:
