We are hiring “Chinese Chef” for our property. 

Job Description:

• Food Preparation: Preparing ingredients (e.g., chopping, marinating, stir-frying, steaming) using traditional Chinese techniques such as wok cooking, steaming, braising, and deep-frying.
• Cooking: Overseeing the cooking process to ensure dishes are prepared and cooked to perfection. This includes maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Ingredient Selection and Quality Control: Sourcing and selecting fresh, high-quality ingredients that are essential to authentic Chinese cuisine. Ensuring all ingredients meet health and safety standards.
• Supervising Kitchen Staff: Leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and ensuring smooth operations in the kitchen. This includes delegating tasks and overseeing their execution.
• Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization: Ensuring the kitchen adheres to sanitation and safety standards, including proper food storage, hygiene practices, and equipment maintenance.
• Customer Interaction: In some settings, a Chinese chef might interact with customers to explain dishes, provide recommendations, or gather feedback to improve menu offerings.
• Inventory Management: Overseeing stock levels of ingredients and ensuring there is no wastage. The chef may also be involved in ordering supplies.
• Adhering to Budget: Managing food costs and working within budget constraints while maintaining quality Standard.
