Job Description

  1. Sharpen and adjust knives and cutting equipment.

  2. Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery.

  3. Cut, debone, or grind pieces of meat.

  4. Weigh, wrap, and display meat or meat products.

  5. Cut or prepare meats to specification or customers’ orders.

  6. Store meats in refrigerators or freezers at the required temperature.

  7. Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards.
