Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To operate as a highly flexible, multi-skilled hybrid team member at our flagship Kumaripati outlet. This role bridges the gap between digital billing accounting and floor hospitality. Depending on operational rushes and scheduled shift rosters, the Associate will rotate between managing the billing counter (cash register, tax invoicing, purchasing) and providing premium table service (ordering, guest relations, serving).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Category A: Billing Counter & Accounting Operations (Counter Station)

Vision POS Operations: Take customer orders at the counter and operate the cloud-based Vision billing system to process cash, card, and digital wallet payments.

Legal VAT Billing: Issue official, sequentially numbered VAT bills to customers, ensuring absolute compliance with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) regulations.

Petty Cash & Expense Sheets: Manage the outlet’s daily petty cash register. Accurately log all local expenses, utility payments, and emergency disbursements on a Daily Excel Expense Sheet.

Purchase Order (PO) Processing: Monitor daily dry and fresh ingredient levels. Prepare and dispatch formal POs to local Veg and Dairy vendors, as well as daily meat requisitions to the Central Kitchen, using our standardized templates.

Category B: Guest Relations & Table Service (Floor Station)

Guest Welcoming & Seating: Greet arriving guests with a warm, genuine Nepali "Namaste" and help seat them to deliver the traditional hospitality our brand stands for.

Active Table Waitering: Present menus, guide guests through our Biryani Combos and Quick Bites, take verbal table orders, and execute the standard confirm back verbal order check to eliminate kitchen errors.

Food & Beverage Service: Run hot food plates, unlimited Thali top-ups, and cold beverages safely and swiftly from the kitchen pass-thru window to guest tables.

Table Turnover Hygiene: Clear tables immediately after guests depart. Sanitize table surfaces, shake out chairs, and ensure that water glasses, tissues, and cutlery are kept perfectly clean and placed in their designated spots.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Freshers are highly encouraged to apply! Prior experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR), dining establishments, or retail cashier roles is a strong advantage but not mandatory.

Welfare & Compensation

Complimentary Food & Lunch: A fresh, high-quality lunch and afternoon duty tea are provided completely free of cost on the outlet premises.

Note: Meals must be consumed in the designated staff area and cannot be taken off-site or shared with friends/family.

Company Apparel: Standardized, smart, and comfortable restaurant uniforms are provided by the company.

Career Growth Pathway: Outstanding associates will be prioritized for fast-track promotion to Shift Supervisor, Captain, or Assistant Outlet Manager as we expand our outlets across the Kathmandu Valley.

Duty Hour: 10 hours

Working Days: 6 days a week
