The role also includes maintaining bar inventory, cleanliness, and compliance with all hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, professional bar service.
Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
Take beverage orders directly from guests or servers.
Recommend drinks and upsell premium brands or signature cocktails.
Ensure proper mixing, garnishing, and presentation of drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and equipment.
Monitor and manage bar stock levels; report shortages and assist in inventory control.
Follow cash handling and billing procedures accurately.
Check guests’ identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
Handle guest complaints or requests politely and efficiently.
Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation policies (HACCP standards).
Support the team during busy periods and assist in bar setup or closing duties.
Maintain knowledge of current beverage trends and mixology techniques.
