Dashain Bonus Overtime payment for extra hours Only Food Incentive after Probation PeriodAssist in washing, peeling, cutting, and preparing fruits, vegetables, and other food ingredients, and support chefs in the preparation, portioning, and packing of patient therapeutic diets and staff meals.
Serve food and beverages to patients, attendants, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, and deliver patient meals accurately according to prescribed diet plans and meal schedules.
Verify meal trays and ensure patients receive the correct diet as instructed.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining area, serving counters, utensils, equipment, refrigerators, storage areas, and meal trolleys, and assist in setting up and clearing dining and serving areas.
Wash, sanitize, and properly store kitchen utensils, crockery, and equipment, and collect used trays, plates, and utensils after meal service to ensure proper cleaning.
Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies while following FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices, and report shortages, equipment issues, damaged items, or patient meal concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Follow food safety, infection prevention, waste management, and hospital hygiene protocols at all times, and wear the prescribed uniform while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
Coordinate effectively with chefs, dieticians, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure timely meal service, assist in catering for meetings, hospital events, and special functions, and perform any other duties assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor, HOD, or Management.
Note:
Duty Hour: 9 hours in between 6 AM to 9 PM
Working Days: 6 days a week
