Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meat), etc.
* Cook food using various utensils or grillers.
* Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
* Properly store food and other items.
* Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment.
* Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before serving.
* Moniter ingredient quality and place orders when shortages occur.
Key Skills Required:
* Knowledge of various cooking procedures (grilling, baking, boiling) etc.
* Good physical condition and stamina.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Proven minimum 3 years experience as a cook.
* Ability to follow sanitation procedures.
* Familiarity with cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
* Equivalent (a culinary school diploma is advantageous)
