Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain the general ledger and accounting records.

  2. Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.

  3. Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers, setting appropriate credit limits.

  4. Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.

  5. Implement and enforce credit control policies and procedures.

  6. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

  7. Coordinate with the sales and logistics team to resolve billing issues.

  8. Handle bank reconciliations and assist with audits.

  9. Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations and statutory requirements.

  10. Liaise with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions as needed.

  11. Requirements:

  12. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  13. Minimum 1years of experience in accounting, preferably within the FMCG or beverage industry.

  14. Proven experience in credit control and accounts receivable management.

  15. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

  16. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  17. Ability to work independently and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  18. Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance relevant to the beverage sector is an advantage.
